Terms of Service

1. Agreement to Terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") are a binding agreement between you and Itay Rose Ari, a sole proprietor operating from Yehuda Hanassi 13, 6920013, Israel ("trolbi", "we", "us"), governing your use of the trolbi application and website (the "Service").

By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service.

2. Description of the Service

trolbi is a personal AI assistant. You create projects — areas of your life or work — and the assistant helps you with tasks inside them: writing, research, analysis, planning, working with files, and running computations. With your approval, the assistant remembers knowledge, working methods, and abilities per project, so it becomes more useful to you over time.

The Service is under active development. Features may be added, changed, or removed. We will not materially reduce the core functionality of a paid plan mid-billing-period without notice.

3. Your Account

  • Provide accurate information and keep your sign-in credentials secure. You are responsible for activity under your account.
  • One account per person. Accounts are personal and may not be shared or resold.
  • You may delete your account at any time from within the Service. Deletion is permanent (see the Privacy Policy for details).

4. Plans, Payment, and Refunds

Plans. The Service is offered as a monthly subscription:

  • Standard — US$79/month, including 600 assistant messages per calendar month.
  • Plus — US$130/month, with no fixed monthly message allowance, subject to Fair Use (Section 5).

A "message" is a request you send to the assistant. Unused allowance does not roll over. We may change plan prices or allowances with at least 30 days' notice; changes take effect at your next renewal.

Billing. Payments are processed by Lemon Squeezy, LLC, our merchant of record. Lemon Squeezy is the seller of record for your purchase, and its terms and privacy policy apply to the payment transaction. We never see or store your card details.

Renewal and cancellation. Subscriptions renew automatically each month until cancelled. You may cancel at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period, and you keep access until then.

Refunds. You may request a full refund within 14 days of your first subscription purchase by contacting support@trolbi.com. Refunds are processed through Lemon Squeezy. Renewal charges are not refundable except where required by applicable consumer law. Nothing in this section limits non-waivable rights you hold under the consumer protection law of your country of residence, including the Israeli Consumer Protection Law, 5741-1981, and the EU Consumer Rights Directive.

5. Fair Use

The Plus plan is designed for genuine personal use without a fixed cap. To protect the Service for everyone, we may throttle, queue, or limit usage that materially exceeds normal personal use — for example, automated or scripted access, load far beyond what an individual produces by hand, or usage patterns indicating account sharing or resale. Where practical, we will contact you before acting. Persistent abuse is grounds for termination under Section 13.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • use the Service for any unlawful purpose, or to plan or commit harm to others;
  • upload or generate content that is illegal, infringes others' rights, or contains malware;
  • attempt to breach, probe, or circumvent security measures, sandboxing, or usage limits;
  • use the code-execution capability to attack third-party systems, mine cryptocurrency, or run workloads unrelated to your use of the assistant;
  • access the Service by automated means (bots, scrapers, scripts) except through interfaces we provide;
  • reverse engineer the Service, or resell, sublicense, or provide the Service to third parties;
  • misrepresent AI-generated output as human-created where that misrepresentation is unlawful or deceptive.

We may suspend or remove content or accounts that violate this section.

7. Your Content

You own your content. Everything you upload or write into the Service, and the knowledge the assistant keeps for you, remains yours.

You grant us a limited, worldwide, non-exclusive license to host, store, process, transmit, and display your content solely to operate and provide the Service to you — including sending it to the AI-model and infrastructure providers listed in our Privacy Policy. This license ends when you delete the content or your account, except for short-lived backup copies described in the Privacy Policy.

We do not use your content to train AI models, and we do not permit our AI providers to do so.

You are responsible for your content — for having the right to upload it and for its lawfulness.

8. AI Outputs

The assistant's outputs are generated by artificial intelligence and are provided as-is:

  • Outputs can be wrong. AI can produce inaccurate, incomplete, or misleading results, stated confidently. Review outputs before relying on them or sharing them.
  • No professional advice. The Service does not provide financial, investment, legal, tax, medical, or other professional advice, even when a project concerns those topics. Outputs are informational assistance only. Consult a qualified professional before making decisions with significant consequences.
  • Ownership. As between you and us, you own the outputs generated for you, to the extent permitted by law. We do not claim rights in them.
  • Outputs may be similar to outputs generated for other users; we cannot guarantee uniqueness.

9. Intellectual Property

The Service itself — its software, design, and branding — belongs to us and our licensors. We grant you a limited, non-transferable, revocable license to use it while you have an account in good standing. If you send us feedback or suggestions, we may use them without obligation to you.

10. Third-Party Services

The Service is built on third-party infrastructure (listed in the Privacy Policy) and may link to external communities and resources (e.g., WhatsApp groups, YouTube). Those services have their own terms; we are not responsible for them.

11. Disclaimers

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE", WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR THAT OUTPUTS WILL BE ACCURATE OR RELIABLE. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain warranty exclusions; where the law grants you mandatory warranties, they are unaffected.

12. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE — INCLUDING DECISIONS MADE IN RELIANCE ON AI OUTPUTS.

OUR TOTAL AGGREGATE LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNTS YOU PAID FOR THE SERVICE IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS BEFORE THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM.

Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including liability for willful misconduct or gross negligence where non-excludable.

13. Termination

You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your account for material breach of these Terms, with notice and an opportunity to respond where reasonably practical. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ends; Sections 7 (license wind-down), 8, 9, 11, 12, and 14 survive. If we terminate without cause, we will refund the pro-rata unused portion of your current billing period.

14. Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Israel, and the competent courts of Tel Aviv-Yafo have exclusive jurisdiction — except that if you are a consumer in a jurisdiction whose law grants you the right to sue in your local courts or under your local law, that right is preserved.

15. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms. For material changes we will give at least 30 days' notice by email or in-app before they take effect. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance. If you do not agree, cancel before the change takes effect.
